Best Window Unit I Have Ever Bought

I had an 8k BTU unit that finally died. Ive always kept it set to 73 degrees. It would cool the room down but even on Energy Efficient it constantly ran. But this LG 12k BTU well what can I say. I wish I had bought this a lond lind time ago Keep it at the same temperature and it cool off quicker does not run as ofter and has even lowered my electric bill by $15 a month There have even been some times Ive actually had to turn it off in the evening because it felt too cold and Im in Central Florida on the coast HIGHLY recommend this product

I got this for mine and my girlfriends living that didnt have Ac. It would get so hot in the living room we got the ac and I put it in and the next morning the house was cold. Not just cooled down but cold we had to put socks on and hoodies. The instructions for setting up were very easy to follow. Our ac isnt placed like how they were supposed to and it still works fine and everything is where it is supposed to be. My only thing is the energy saver mode is quite annoying. It doesnt turn off and wait till the house warms up a little bit just turns off and then after a short moment turns back on so you continually hear the fans turn off and on it isnt loud but just a little annoying in our quiet home. I recommend this ac to everyone that can use one. It is genuinely great. It has made the house bearable and we can enjoy movie nights without being drenched in sweat.

I purchased an ac unit for the window on June 14 2022. A little after a month it was making horrible sounds. I called LG 5 times and each time I was told someone will be out to fix it. I was then told a refund. Im still going through hell with them and cant spend more time on the phone when its so hard to hear what their saying.

Concerned at first but good now

Bottom line up front seems to be a very good unit. Its being used in a med/large room that only could be cooled via a window unit. When it was first installed the unit only worked in fan mode for some reason. After a day of not working in mid August and a call to costumer service I un-plugged everything and re-installed. Then it worked. Weird. And now so far so good. Nice and quiet.

Dead on arrival

We had thia AC installed before the weather got warm. The first time we used it on a warm day we found out that it didnt cool at all. Fan works and you can hear the compressor but the air is not cooled at all. LG could not find anyone to service it so we are working on getting a refund. Meanwhile it is 100 degrees where we are and we have a dead AC installed in the wall.

Powerful quiet and a pretty easy install

I bought this for our basement family room which in addition to needing cooling can sometimes get a bit damp. We had a functioning window AC down there but it didnt do a very good job on dehumidifying and I decided to take a chance on this unit rather than adding a separate dehumidifier power draw wouldve been a concern Couldnt be happier with the decision - this unit is substantially quieter than other window AC units weve owned easily maintains a comfortable temperature and except on the hottest days weve been able to just run it in Dry mode to hold both the temperature and humidity down in the room with significantly lower power draw. Installation requires removing the unit from its sleeve which makes the install much easier and safer as all the finagling part of the install is just with the lightweight empty sleeve and everything I needed was included in the box. Would buy another LG in a heartbeat.

This is the second DEFECTIVE LG Product

WE WERE SO EXCITED THAT WE WERE FINALLY HAVE SOME KIND OF COMFORT IN OUR MOBILE HOME THAT IS MADE OUT OF METAL OR TIN. WE GOT THE FIRST AIR CONDITIONER BUT IT DIDNT WORK AND MIND YOU WE HAD TO DO DEMOLITION TO GET IT IN THE WINDOW. SO WE SEND IT BACK TO FED-EX AND WAIT 3 WEEKS FOR A SECOND ONE TO ARRIVE. Spoke to a representative who just told me to recet the unit and they will call me back within 15 mins. 3 days later no call... Called back and spoke to someone who is sending me a repair individual. Ive had Frigidaire for the last 3 ac units before this LG. I actually bought it the summer before but didnt feel the need to replace our ac until summer of 22. Installation was easy and intuitive. Ive had it set to 64 degrees and its so quiet its sometimes hard to tell if it is running at all.

Buying the LG 12 BTU Air conditioner was a solid purchase very quiet looks great and my electric bill has only risen slightly and I believe thats due to increases. LG is much better than the AC it replaced.

Bought this a week ago. Worked once. Now it sounds like the fan is just going. Not blowing out cool air at all. There is no difference between the fan option and the cool option. I just had a baby and really dont have time to return it.
