So Hard to Use the Ovens

I love the dual fuel stove and oven. I love the idea of multiple features in the ovens but we havent tried them all yet. Our first attempts to broil something only resulted in a cold oven. Turning it on required a You Tube tutorial and even then ours did not work so easily. We are folks with above average intelligence and it took a while to realize that one knob operates settings on both the upper and lower ovens and there is no OFF setting. There is also only one button for START for both ovens. When trying to set the temperature if we dont do it fast enough the oven turns off and you have to reset the oven function to get it back on. Same with the timer which we havent mastered yet. As for the Clock setting...four people couldnt set it so we called the technician. Even he had trouble and admitted its working but its hard. He gave up trying to get it to switch from military time to am/pm time. Maybe its a matter of practice. Certainly it requires patience. To use the bottom oven you have to get very low to the floor. Dont do it with a bad back Im used to built-in ovens so this is a big adjustment for me. Im really hoping the Thanksgiving turkey fits Right now my oven intimidates me and this is not a good relationship.

Purchase this model for our kitchen remodel and it really looks fantastic. At first the extra large burner on the gas stove was finicky but it responded to a little tweaking of the cap and has been working as designed since then. The oven is very easy to use and working well.

I purchased this range in August of 2022 based on the dual fuel and double oven features. This range is jam packed with many great features but has a major design flaw that I am currently working through with LG. The gliding rack does not sit level. A gliding rack is essential for a double oven since the oven cavities are much smaller thus reaching into a hot oven is a safety concern. The gliding rack assists with removing of food from the ovens the upper smaller oven since it is small and the lower oven since lifting a heavy dish would place a strain on your back and arms. Since the gliding rack is not level front to back - back in lower than front by 1/2 cakes come out uneven - high on one side/low on the other in addition liquid in a roasting pan flows to the back on the pan making the cooking uneven. I have receive two replacement gliding racks and they have the same design flaw - the racks are not level. The problem with the LG gliding rack makes the ovens unusable. The gas cooktop is great which makes this review very unfortunate due to the problem with the gliding rack. The standard non-gliding racks are level but dont provide the needed assistance that the gliding rack provides. I have taken the time to go to a big box store and inspect competitors gliding racks and all of the gliding racks tested were completely level. The LG gliding rack at the big box store was not level. I spent top dollar purchasing LGs top of the line range and certainly expect a gliding rack that is level

The stove has been great. The gas burners and double stove has been great. However I was cleaning the top oven and it completely shut down. One of the sensors went. Thank goodness I had an extended warranty since my LG warranty was up. Thing was I had cleaned the oven many times before. Bottom line from the repairman dont use the cleaning feature. Yipes one of the reasons I bought the appliance.

Dual fuel was received 10/21. Dec 2022 unit died. Had 2 certified technicians replaced parts. Not able to find the problem. Lg tech is no help do not have schematics for unit. Lg technicians came out 2x no idea why this happened or how to repair. Multiple calls to LG lip service but no assistance. 14 months is a very short lifespan for a top of the line range. Very expensive experience very disappointed in LG

Weve only had the dual fuel double oven range for about a week but so far we were extremely pleased. It feels very solid the burners and controls have a sure feel and we are starting to experiment with the double oven arrangement. So far so good. The smaller upper oven seems perfect for pizza and a single sheet of cookies. Were very impressed with the arrangement of burners and the griddle.

We bought this new LG dual oven gas range just before the Christmas holiday to replace a similar configured higher priced dual range that had failed after only two years with no availability of replacement parts. The new LG dual range oven works great. It is a much better oven than the oven it replaced with better temperature control and more options. I wish we had bought this LG dual oven to start with.

Oven went out right before the holidays- isnt this how life is. Lol. Anyhow we were planning to purchase a luxury professional double oven gas range after the holidays. Do plans ever workout?? Anyhow we went with the signature dual fuel 30inch double oven range. I absolutely love it It bakes even full temperature control on the range and the quality of the knobs oven racks and smart panel are AMAZING Oh you also get slide out roll out racks They are the best- Ill never go back to normal racks. One last thing the blue oven makes it so much better to see. All this at a great price point.

Beautiful appliance with smooth almost smudge-free stainless finish. Simple yet sturdy grate design. Easy to use control panel almost unbelieveably simple. Love the chime of the timer not annoying almost musical. The interior of the large bottom oven has chipped blue enamel on the side a bit worrisome if this expands to the top and base of the oven - fingers crossed that this doesnt happen. I was told never to use the self-clean feature or else the intense heat will mess with the oven electronics. Neighbors told me they received the same advice about their oven which begs the question: Why Put A Self-Clean Feature On An Oven If It Is Detrimental To The Product? As stated in the Title of my review the representatives on the 800 number customer service line are horrible perhaps untrained?. The form letters they send are confusing. BAD experience. Hope that you NEVER have to call them

Ive had this product since May 2022. The quality of the stainless steel exterior is quite nice doesnt easily smudge and is easy to clean. Temperature seems accurate. Only two complaints: blue enamel has chipped off the inside of the oven I have the pieces and the 800 # Customer Service is ridiculously incompetent and obviously untrained. Years ago an appliance repairman told my husband never to buy LG products. I cant say that the product is horrendous however the Customer Service process definitely needs drastic improvement...theyre that bad. They like to send form letter responses that are ineffective.

When I remodeled I bought all new LG appliances. Mostly they are ok. Stove lost its display lights and was expensive to repair. Refrigerator went completely out last year and we lost a lot of food. This was extremely expensive to repair. There was a class action suit against LG because of this happening to many customers. LG would not respond to me or return my calls. I will never buy an LG appliance again

I love to cook and my previous stove was a workhorse lasting 17 years. Im optimistic that this will be a sequel. I have to say that this will probably be the best stove Ive ever had.

I bought this a month ago and Im so happy with the purchase. Its a great 5 burner range and with the combo on electric dual door oven AND conventional cant go wrong. The only thing I wish it had is to convert the dual door into one so that it can be used as one WHOLE oven for larger cooking methods such as standing chicken on a beer can method....I tried it and it was really tight but managed to do it but hopefully my huge turkey fits w/o an issue.

I like the product and features. It just didnt last very long. This is an expensive and complicated appliance and durability is in question. So a lot of things can go awry and some dont seem to be fixable. If you have to go beyond the fixing stage you may end up on the short end.

We have been using this oven for nearly two Months now. While the stove top is like any other well made stove the knobs in front have taken a bit to get used to they easily turn when brushed by accident by a belly. the ovens and their features really shine My husband and love to cook and bake. We bake bread homemade pizza and a variety roasts and other ovens goodies. The proofing setting as well as the remote starts are fantastic and we use them regularly. The top oven has an easy slide rack to make this our go to oven for many tasks. I do wish we had that option for the lower oven as well. In particular because the lower oven is literally just off the floor I find myself kneeling in front of it to safely place my food. An easy slide system would help tremendously. Since Im in my early 60s kneeling and bending to use the lower isnt a big deal for me but for an older or infirmed person I would definitely see this as a draw back.
