As a 75 year old user I want to set it up, plug it in and heat up a food item. Your start up directions should only focus on these actions. This particular model won't even let you open the door without reading the directions!

I love my Whirlpool microwave. It looks very nice in my kitchen and the size will easily accommodate a large siz casserole. It also has all the cooking features I could possibly need. My only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is I have not been able to master the controls. For example how do I microwave something for 2 minutes and 20 second? There is a 30 second button and speed press for 1,2 and 3 minutes but I cannot figure out the answer to my question
