2 years ago I had to replace the dashboard electronics. NOT happy. The best thing about this model is the standing grates that make cleaning a little easier, but the grime around the burners does NOT come off the enamel, even with baking soda and vinegar, toothbrushes, Mr Clean sponges, Dawn. I've taken to using one of those kevlar sort of range top covers but the burner grime is just vicious. I've never used the middle burner for anything. The grill pan that comes with the stove is not deep enough to keep bacon (or whatever) grease contained so that's sort of useless, too. I still haven't figured out how the oven timer works properly. I have to use a timer from the dollar twenty five store to be sure things are accurate. I DID also buy the Front load washer dryer set BECAUSE I want MADE IN America. But I honestly wonder what THOSE clowns on the engineering bench are thinking.

Wasted stovetop spacing

I bought this 2 years ago and while it has served it's purpose the best it could, I would not purchase this model. I can it cook anything while using the griddle but I also cannot cook with two pots on the same side(power burner and simmer) because of the spacing in the stove top. They fit but cannot be centered in the burners. The spacing is not utilized to maximize how they are centered. Our old whirlpool range could fit 4 pots of varying sizes at one time evenly and so I did not think to check before purchasing this one. It's been thoroughly disappointing and I miss my old one. We only bought a new one for a remodel.

Quick and efficient cooking

We bought this range a month ago and absolutely love it. It is so quick and clean. I do lots of canning so this is wonderful for it. The stove top is very efficient and mostly just use the burners on low. The oven is wonderful. I usually use convection and am really happy with the results. The oven is very spacious. The only negative is the lack of instructions for the controls. Time cook and delay start are no where to be found. I have watched videos which really don't help. A lady had made a video because she had problems figuring it out and thinks she has it on you tube. It is very frustrating. there was a small glitch when it was being set up. A factory mistake. The grates could not be put on because the little holders were installed on the wrong sides. The appliance store owner was here in less than ten minutes to take the top apart and change them. We love this range. Wish we would have changed over a few years earlier.

Solid performance, some minor improvement needed

Overall this has been an excellent replacement to our previous range oven. Stove top: Burners light quickly and provide quick even heating. Often we have been cooking more quickly on lower settings than our previous unit. Oven: General cooking and convection performance is solid, yielding consistent results. The broiler setting is an expectation to this as it seems to cook more quickly in the center.

I got my stove October of 2020. Have not really had any Issues until recently. My initial complaint upon receiving the item is that the handles DO NOT match. In the photo they look like they are the same black stainless steel but mine came in the regular stainless steel handles. I fought with whirlpool customer service for MONTHS and finally gave up on getting matching handles. My house only has 2 people, both adults, and the stove is used during the week to cook dinner and that's it, on the weekends it gets more use. The "favorite burner" in my house, the front left, is experiencing ignitor issues. For a couple day in a row it won't light and you have to use a lighter, then it works fine for a couple days. The knobs to turn on the burners are loosing their coating now and as soon as the flaking starts it is impossible to stop. Stove isn't under the one year warranty anymore so they will not send me new knobs. For how much I paid I cannot give it 5 stars for the issues I am having even though the stove otherwise operates as expected.

I do like my range, it has many excellent qualities but I'm starting to think its dangerous. I just found a knob turned on, leaking gas for the umpteenth time. With normal movement around my kitchen I have bumped into the knobs and turned it on just a little. Thank goodness natural gas stinks. I wonder if there could be a fix for this.

In 2017 I purchased a Whirlpool stove and loved it. When I downsized and moved, my house came with an old, electric oven. When the heating element went out in the oven, I knew exactly what stove I was buying. I had missed cooking with gas and the ease of cleaning the stove top and oven. I am extremely happy I did and the frozen bake technology is an added bonus! Now to the rest of remodeling and buying Whirlpool refrigerator, microwave, and updated dishwasher!

This is my first gas range. Did not know what to expect, but I have nothing but great things to say about this range. Cooks my oatmeal real quick and seems alot smoother. Eggs don't get that brown edging like before on my electric range. What can I say about the Baking, Wow, my chicken is cooked to perfection with the convection oven. Moist and amazing flavour. The cookies we made , well what can I say, two trays at a time and done within 45 minutes, blown away . I love the colour and everything about this. So many more features I need to explore. Fantastic Stove, love it !

I have tried the pizza sensor - it worked fine - I just like my frozen pizza a little more done so I added more time, but forgot to set the timer - Burnt! I got this about a month ago, all works as expected and we are very happy with the different options for cooking. Only complaint that we have is that the vents on top of the oven door get extremely hot to the touch, so we have had to keep an extra eye on the little guy not touching while cooking, and for a good hour + afterwards. Also, would be nice it the oven door had a locking feature.

I bought this oven on 3/19/2020 and delivered March 25. Oven quit working in September 2020. Got warranty service scheduled and they replaced the oven ignition circuit board, wiring harness and igniter. I purchased an extended service plan in December 2020. The oven failed again in early March 2021. Called Whirlpool and got service scheduled and when the service company called to verify they informed me that the warranty expired March 9, sixteen days short of my delivery date. Called Whirlpool and after 2 hours on the phone and being passed around to several departments I learned that the extended service was not effective until 4/4/21 but that my 1 year manufacturers warranty had expired on 3/9/21. There was no explanation for the discrepancy in dates. Whirlpool customer service supervisor offered to cover the repair this one time under warranty. Service was scheduled and completed on 3/26/21. The oven ignition board was again replaced The oven was used one time this week and has now failed again. This unit is not reliable and apparently not repairable. I am out a lot of money and have only a very large useless hunk of metal in my kitchen to show for it. It is Easter weekend and I have family coming for dinner and no way to cook. Thanks, Whirlpool

We try to buy American when we can. This was replacing a troublesome Samsung. We should have kept the Samsung. On the Whirlpool the center burner regulator would not turn. Called and had a repairman come out. He said it looked like the trim piece was not aligned so to get the knob to fit, they bent it to get it to fit inside the trim. The trim is just stuck on with like 3M tape & he was afraid of breaking it when he tried to move it so ordered a new one. While waiting for our appointment, we noticed the convection fan was not coming on. Repairman confirmed it was "trying", it would cycle on & off. Needs a new control board. Was really a pain to switch over to LP, but only have to do that once.I adjusted the flame, but it does not have much adjustability. With it adjusted at low like it instructs, high is still way too much. Also they are much noisier than the old stove. Overall it seems cheaper quality than the Samsung we replaced. Sad since I was hoping for American Pride with my purchase.

Not Efficient or Functional Gas Lease Hazard

I had this stove less than 5yrs. and in the past 1 1/2 there were problems with the burners shutting off by themselves while my food was cooking and releasing gas smell, strong gas smell release when I had to use the cook top or oven, switching from baking mode to broil releasing a gas smell so strong that every window in my house had to be opened on more than 2 occasions and finally the stove taking a long time to heat up just to 350 degrees. This oven would make banging noises too after having it for this past few months. The Fire Department had to come to my home and the gas company followed and RED TAGGED the GAS Range because these issues he said should not be happening especially with the oven less than 5 years old. I would not recommend this range to anyone!
