Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Not Good

Norisa 6/30/2025

We bought a house came with this cook top, overall is bad quality. It gets stained easily, the silver part of it, is just coated. I had before kitchen aid, way better quality

Not the happiest

Har04 8/30/2024

This product is not the best for it to be a Whirlpool. It stains around the power burner, the cooktop scratches very easily, and the knobs melts. For some reason it will not let me add photo's but on other's reviews the melting knobs and scratches and stains all is true.

The grill on the burners are too high, the heat escapes from the sides and the food takes time to heat. Also the knobs are melting because of the heat.

Cooktop is good - griddle not so much

Ellen 6/14/2024

The burners all work effectively. My only dis-satisfaction is with the stovetop griddle. It fits only on the right side of the cooktop, which has the extra large burner and the smallest. In my opinion it should have been designed to fit on the left side where the two burners are the same size, thereby providing even heat for cooking large batches of pancakes, eggs or whatever.

Really hard to simmer

GTom 3/26/2024

In order to simmer a dish I have to use the smallest burner. There is no way to get a low heat on the others. Also, the griddle fits over the smallest burner and a large burner so the heat is not very even.

I bought this appliance on clearance at Lowe™€™s. Home improvement because of that it did not come with any type of manufacturers warranty or otherwise. The Appliance has yet to be installed, so I do not yet even know if it™€™s functions, we are waiting on countertops before it is installed. I™€™m hoping it functions as Lowes only has a two day return policy on major appliances and the warranty on this unit is out because it was originally manufactured in 2018. Should have light indicators for when gas is on.

One who takes extra time 8/3/2023

I feel like at this point time, light indicators that the gas is one is essential. It™€™s for cases of accidents or low burner cooking and if you forget. So many other companies do this. Unfortunately, we didn™€™t pick this out since it was a spec home. Other than that the cooktop is great. Burners are powerful and it™€™s easy to clean.
