Purchased the range a few weeks ago, tested the temperature in the oven and it has a 80° variation, -40° +40°.Would be very hard to bake in an oven like this. The rest of the range is fine.

I purchased this stove two months. The size is perfect for my ™little house™ kitchen. The stove top heat is even and works perfectly. The oven preheats quickly and bakes evenly. I™™m very happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for a similar product.

I™™ve had the range for two weeks, the burners on top were great but the oven has a 40° minus and a 40° plus variation in heat. If I set it on 350° it will go from 310 to 390 back-and-forth. I was told by the manufacturer to pull the knob adjust it, but that only adjust the actual temperature goal. It has nothing to do with the huge range in degrees. The price was not cheap and you would think that they could do a little better on the quality

Sharp pointy screws sticking out of frame towards the floor, sliced the top of my foot . Small blemish on door needing touch up paint .Its not even plugged in yet and I™™m already unhappy. Waiting for GE response on, is this a one off issue or are all these having this issue . Would add pics of screws but the site won™™t let me add photos

This is the best 20 inch electric range in the market, it is built strong and sturdy and has the quality to last a lifetime. Compared to others this one is super easy to clean the design is excellent. Aesthetically it is a beautiful stove, it has been redesigned to look more modern and sleek. The best thing about this product is that GE stands behind it with so many replacement parts and accesories available that will make it easy to maintain in top shape. I highly recommend. However... The only reason I deduct a star is due to the price, this product has gone up in price significantly in the past couple of years. I remmember when you could purchase this range in walmart for $220, now I have seen it in stores for $700+ which is quite ridiculous for a stove that is clearly intended for economy purposes for small rental apartments or studios, Hotpoint is supposed to be the Economy line from GE, this range is more expensive than larger "GE" ranges. I feel the product does not justify the price.

This is a great electric stove model. It heats quickly and evenly, it has modern safety features, the knobs are on the front instead of behind the burners, and with a 20" width it fits great in smaller kitchens like apartments.

I couldn't be happier with this range! It is perfect for smaller spaces/apartments. It is basic in its functionality but has a sharp, modern design and works well. My previous experience with ranges of this compact size is that they're all completely outdated. Very happy to have a clean, modern, and functional compact range!

It replaced my stainless steel monster, with all the bells and whistles, when it died. It suits my hundred year old cottage perfectly. It's simplicity is a joy. I had seen reviews criticizing its performance, which concerned me. They could not be further from the truth. It functions brilliantly and has made me a happy cook again! P.S; its smaller size does not hamper what, nor how much, you can cook in any way.

Heats up fast.not pleased with the sensitive temp thing a ma jig taking up the coil space in the center,but doesnt present a problem.it would be nice to have one extra small burner for my coffee perculator,instead of 3 the same size.maybe they sell smaller coil units,I didnt check.

Stove fits just fine and works normally. The design, with wasted bottom space, which have been used for storage, cost it two stars. The engineers must not cook in a compact space, or wear pants with no pockets™¦
But, to be fair, I think the other 20 inch ranges might also be without storage.
