Oven came with damaged door and also missing a shelf.
Functions less efficient than any previous oven. Oven heats up very slowly. To set temperature.

The oven has a large capacity. It takes a long time to heat to set temperature. More importantly, the racks cannot be moved without scratching the sides of the oven walls. May this be repaired?

Damage and Fingerprints

We have two issues. First, GE has always stated as soon as item is removed from the box you own it. Well, when it was removed we found it damaged. We then learned it was past the "cosmetic warranty".
Second item, you can see every fingerprint that comes in contact with the unit. It takes a lot to clean the fingerprints.

This oven looks and works great. It has locking controls and is self cleaning. It has wifi capability. You can turn your oven on while away to have dinner ready when you get home.

Product is very nice. Installers installed and powered in a half hour. Noticed when I tried to pull out racks they were pinched in and scraped the walls removing the ceramic coating. How do I repair this?

I have enjoyed my GE wall oven more than expected. I actually have 2 of these, side by side, as I wanted the double oven feature without sacrificing capacity as most double ovens are smaller in size. I am enjoying the "smart" features that are accessible via an app on my phone and can preheat my oven before I even walk into the kitchen. Also, being able to set a cook time automatically turns the oven off when it's finished cooking which gives me peace of mind that I haven't forgotten to turn the oven off before I leave the house (which I could also check on the app if I wasn't sure.) I've only owned it for appx 1 month so I haven't used the self cleaning function yet, still excited to see how that works.

Our new equipment shows F940 sign after running self clean. We turned the electric off for several minutes, and then take on. It still shows F940. We do not know how to handle it.

Just installed and racks do not slide easily in some of the slots scratching the surface. They slide fine into a few but not all slots

This wall oven takes forever to preheat. It™™s very basic. No frills. I wish I could have chose a different one but it was what the builder offered. It also takes forever to cool down. One day I™™ll hopefully be able to replace it.

The controls are pretty easy, however you push start to start the timer, but timer to turn it off. I was pushing off, and it turned the oven off.
The cooking is good, and all the functions I need. Temp is a bit higher than I'm used to, but fine.
The problem with the unit is that so much of the upper area is controls, so the oven is really low to the ground. I am short, but I am nearly on my knees to get things in or out. It would be better up on a wall than below the counter under a cook top. The internal height is also very short, so good luck if you put a turkey in. The bottom shelf will be about an inch or 2. Not really room for a casserole dish.

The racks for this oven do not slide in and out like they should. They stick badly. Customer service has offered no solution other than to send me the same size racks that still stick and scratch the insides of the oven when I try to slide them. Awful design flaw for which GE is unwilling to take responsibility.

I gave the score of 1 because the oven does work. However, the racks don™™t. I have contacted GE 3 times, been given case numbers and have talked to 3 different people regarding the racks scraping the sides of the oven when we remove them. The sides are all scraped up. I was sent 2 new racks and same thing. Then an appliance company came and told us the racks are to be rubbed with vegetable oil to work. I have never heard of this. Never and I have had several ovens. We were then told by GE that the damage was cosmetic and there is nothing to be done. Live and learn.

Works well as an analog microwave combo oven. The scan to cook functionality just does not work. Even GE support was unable to explain how this functionality works. This is probably an app issue
