I bought the Whirlpool convection microwave oven previous to this one. The door is heavier on the Whirlpool convection oven, and my kids kept slamming the door on it until the door fell apart. Otherwise, it worked fine. It did give me some problems in the beginning with the oven door latch switch making good contact, allowing the oven to work (known issue which they may have fixed at this point). But, that issue faded over time, and I did not need to replace the switches. I tried to get the newest model of that oven as a replacement, but it's on backorder for several months. It's also more than twice the cost of what I paid for it in 2017. Not too surprising. All these appliances are significantly more expensive now. So, I settled on this Frigidaire as a replacement because it was available and people seemed happy with it. One thing I did notice is that the door is lighter, and I do like that. You are less likely to feel the need to slam it shut. Also, the Frigidaire takes less time to heat or defrost food. One thing I don't like is that it is harder to clean. It has a coil sticking out at the top of the oven, while the Whirlpool had no coil. I'm guessing the coil is for the convection oven to work properly. The Whirlpool is smooth on all sides with no coil obstructing the ability to clean the inside easily. You really need to use a splatter guard over your food to keep the coil from getting soiled over time. Overall, it will work fine. I haven't used the convection oven function yet. I usually will use that function for holidays when I need to bake an extra item, or in the summer when I don't want to crank up a large oven. Time will tell. I don't think that any of the convection microwave ovens on the market are a slam dunk. I'm picky about appliances. Ease of cleaning, how quickly they heat items, how well it bakes... all those are important factors. However, I felt this was my second best option, although $100 more, since the Whirlpool wasn't available and I didn't want to wait almost three months to get it. Otherwise, the features on the Whirlpool are pretty much the same as this one.

Purchase and installation went well. The unit itself appears to be well made with high quality materials. It is my expectation that with proper use/maintenance the product will perform well and have outstanding product-life. The handleless look it fit into our kitchen of mixed manufacturers very nicely. In our short time with this microwave the microwave itself is quieter than our previous one. We are getting used to and learning about the auto features. I look forward to using them more. The exhaust fan (vented outside) is noisy but so were our previous units. We have also used the air fry feature once; we need a little more practice with it, but it may need more cooking time than a dedicated countertop air fryer. We have not used the convection oven yet but do intend to. So, long story short, this was a good choice for us.

I got rid of an old convection microwave because it was dirty for this convection, microwave, and air fryer. The air frying does need learning. All and all I like the appliance. I bought a new stove about four years ago and turn it on to see that is works only. Never cooked in it. I use my convection. It is just me and Waffly my beagle.

This is the 1st time having a Frigidaire appliance and so far I™™m happy. I used the air fryer yesterday for wings are was not that satisfied with its ability. I prefer my old school air fryer better. Overall I™™m satisfied with the microwave .

The air fry feature is great. It works well and gets our old air fryer of the counter. We are still learning all the features of the microwave, but have no complaints so far. Love the look of no handle and it is easy to keep clean.

Installed brand new. 1st one was defective. Turning off after 3 seconds. Problem with turntable not connecting to the motor. Was replaced immediately by PC Richard. The 2nd one works perfectly so far.

It was fine when first used and baked a potato beautifully. Then, when I put on "Reheat" with something else, it went immediately, everytime, to "Reheat Cook". I want it to reheat and not cook, which it did. Also, the screws in the wall also got rusted after about 3 months rare use! It is getting replaced.

Multiple features, relatively easy to use, plenty of power. There is a bit of a learning curve, certainly coming from a 25 year unit™¦old habits die hard™¦but we found the features we use most frequently, and adapted. 1000 watts compared to 850, so I adjusted the time to make water for my coffee and it never tasted better.At $750, only a bit more than the $500 I spent 25 years ago, and so far the stainless frame remains smudge free.

I don't know how well this oven works. I called the customer support number on the manual to ask several questions about using the convection portion of the oven. Customer support twice hung up on me, and once answered some of my questions and then transferred me to the sales department who said they did not know the answer to my additional questions. I called again and asked for a manager or supervisor and was disconnected. If you think you might need help with your product, this is not the oven for you.

We bought this brand new and within a few months of using it, the screws inside the microwave began to rust. We have reached out to customer service via telephone and it has been a nightmare. Someone came to look at the microwave and he said he's never seen rusted interior nails. He closed the work ticket without notifying us or fixing the issue. We called Frigidaire for the second time and was given two nonworking phone numbers for next steps. We finally got a third number and she said we can buy eight new screws for our brand new microwave for a total of $83.92. Ridiculous. It cooks our food well, but who knows what toxins are being released. They do not back their product and make customers pay to fix their brand new appliances that should not have issues. We were told the warranty doesn't cover rust on the inside. We believe the wrong screws were used. Rust should not happen inside a brand new microwave within two months of using it.

I recently installed this microwave and I™™m glad I choose this brand and model. Looks sleek and nice but the best part is it really works well. We have cooked muffins, pies, and pizzas with the convection setting. The defrost setting works awesome. The air fryer works better than my oven air fryer. This unit works great in our kitchen and is great having a second little oven. It would be great in a camper/ live in van also.

I really like this convection oven/microwave. It looks nice and is easy to use. However it failed in the middle of baking a chicken after about 8 uses in 3 months. Frigidaire sent out a repairman and they are working on getting some parts on warranty. A house call repairman is a great sign they will stand behind their warranty. I am very disappointed the oven failed so soon, but it looks like it will get fixed. The warranty phone number is answered by an ™AI™ which is really annoying. I really like the product though. If they get this oven fixed I will be a loyal customer for future appliances.

Great microwave when it worked. 5 months into owning the microwave, while air frying it just died. Support was quick to send someone out, but after two trips and a few hours of them ripping the microwave apart, a decent amount of internals needed to be replaced with with parts back ordered into next year. Quite disappointing that appliances don™™t last more than 6 months and when calling for support I was offered the extended warranty. Almost seems like a setup - you build poor quality appliances to just turn around and try and sell me an extended warranty that was almost half the cost of the microwave. Frigidaire you need to do better.

This appliance can microwave, convection cook, and air fry. I got rid of my countertop air fryer. It cooks evenly but takes a little bit longer. I find most temperatures need to go up by 25 degrees. I love it!

So far I am very pleased with my purchase. I had a Samsung microwave before that was in the house when we purchased it. We were not happy with it and as soon as it started to make some noise and not cook properly we changed it out. This unit has an air fryer and convection oven both are an upgrade from previous model. This unit also has a very clean and finished look which is very nice.
