My old microwave died after 20 years. I went shopping for a replacement and decided on the Frigidaire 2.2 built-in. I am extremely pleased with the look and function of this thing. First, it's bigger. It cooks much faster and the features are great. If I get another 20 years out of this one that would be the icing on the cake.

The photo above shows a microwave with a blue LED display. This is what I wanted, I received a microwave with a white display. It does not match the existing oven that is right below it. Also I was told by the manufacturer that this is the correct oven to replace the defective one that I had. She told me exactly which model to order. Not happy with the purchase as it does not match but it appears I am stuck

Have the older model. The display is bad secondary to a control board. I already replaced the board once about 3-4 years ago. Since the new model came out I can't get the control board. The parts department states it is on backorder (for over a year). I have searched the internet and can't find the board. The microwave is 5 years old and now pretty much worthless. I called the frigidaireappliance customer service without much help. I would purchase a new microwave one but they only offer a 30" trim kit. I have space for a 27" trim kit (which the old model allowed). I wish they could get me the part. Frigidaire OEM Part #5304507213

We have had this microwave for 2 months now and we couldn't be happier. It is very easy and intuitive to operate and it provides consistent results. We installed it with the trim kit so it looks like a professional install, despite my limited amount of skills. We look forward to replacing our oven with a matching Frigidaire soon.

We replaced a microwave that could be heard on the floor above and crapped out after just 23 months. I've had microwave ovens since the 1970s, and this one is the best ever. It heats evenly, is wonderfully quiet, and I love the ten-second option. I also like the fact that all of the numbers can default to that many minutes.I do wish there were a single button for sound on/off, rather than having to dig through settings. Reheat seems unnecessarily complicated, but it's the first unit to ever reheat my cream soups perfectly, so there's that.I hope it lasts a long time, because I really like it.

Beware! We have this ™high end™™ microwave and after 2 years the display went black. I called Frigidaire and they told me, ™I apologize but there is nothing we can do.™™ I then called a local repair man who charged me $120 to tell me that it would cost me more to fix it than to buy a new one! We haven't installed it yet as we're still building our house but it arrived in seemingly good condition. We chose it because it has good reviews and was a reasonable price. Customer service so far had been good so hopefully that keeps up.

This model is the newest version of the previous model. The previous model (purchased brand new) was defective and replaced after one week of use. So far this seems to be functioning properly. Very spacious inside and looks very nice in our recent kitchen renovation. Heats food quickly and evenly throughout. Very quiet went in operation. Overall pleased so far.
