We ordered this unit in Dec 2024 and finally had it fully installed in 2025 due to it being a new construction home. We put this unit in our pantry to free up kitchen space and so far are very pleased. The dual ice bins is our favorite feature so far as we like to entertain and running our for additional ice is a pain. Highly recommend.

The technician who came out to adjust the freezer door didn't set the door correctly. The freezer door doesn't match the refrigerator door and ever since, the freezer is showing significant frosting. The freezer was not frosting prior to the technician making the adjustment. Also the noise made when the ice tray is refilled with water is excessive.

Previous Subzero owner and new owner of a Frigidaire single door Freezer and single door refrigerator and already in love. The entire size of the freezer is a huge upgrade from what I had. We bought these to replace a previous set of an older and slightly smaller model. There was no question about replacing the old models with something similar as these are a clear centerpiece to the kitchen, and honestly part of the selling points that got us to buy the house. These are large, efficient and have a ton of usable space. On too many occasions, we have loaded 24 packs of beverages in without having to unpack them or dropped a full large pizza box without having to worry about space. Easy choice if you have the space in your kitchen.

We purchased the Frigidaire Professional Single Door Refrigerator (19 cu. ft.) and matching Single Door Freezer (19 cu. ft.) because we had the previous Frigidaire Professional model for over six years and wanted to stay with the same brand to match our custom cabinetry.Unfortunately, that decision turned into a major mistake.Our previous Frigidaire set gave us constant problems and eventually became unrepairable. Since Frigidaire no longer makes that model, we were forced to buy a brand-new set™"costing over $7,000™"hoping the newer version would be more reliable. Instead, it has been a complete disaster from day one.Within days of delivery, both the refrigerator and freezer began having serious temperature issues. The units constantly beep with high-temperature alarms, sometimes throughout the night. The freezer develops ice buildup, and the refrigerator forms ice at the bottom. As a result, all of our food spoiled.Customer service has been extremely frustrating. There is no U.S.-based customer service™"calls are routed overseas (Philippines), and there is no escalation path to someone local or empowered to help. We have had multiple technician appointments scheduled, and twice they were either cancelled or marked as no-show. Now we™™re being told the next available repair is two weeks out, even though the appliances have been defective since delivery and are still under warranty.Despite all of this, Frigidaire refuses to authorize a full refund and insists they must attempt to repair these brand-new, non-functional appliances first. That makes no sense. Why should a customer be forced to repair a new refrigerator and freezer that never worked properly™"especially at this price point?After three weeks of alarms, food loss, cancelled service, and no accountability, we have lost all confidence in this brand. For some reason, my review was taken off the site. Likely because Frigidaire knows my issue is extremely common, and also completely unacceptable. I've had nothing but issues with the freezer ice maker. 3 years of repairs, until finally, our repair guy said its a collapsed water line inside, unrepairable. Similar to other reviews on here. This is a common issue, Frigidaire knows about it, but offers zero support or repair. This should be turned into a class action suit, as there is zero possibility they didn't know about this. They sent out this fridge, known issues, and fleeced the public. I would like a solution, not a fluffy response, fix the fridge, replace it, whatever it takes.

I™™ve had this Frigidaire Professional freezer for a little over a year, and the unit has been turning on and off unpredictably. Sometimes it runs for a short while and then completely shuts down, other times it will last a bit longer and then die again for no apparent reason.I have reached out to Frigidaire numerous times. They have sent multiple technicians to my home, but none of them have been able to properly diagnose or fix the problem. Each visit ends with a different guess about what might be wrong, but no real solution. At this point, it feels like they have no clear idea what the underlying issue is, and I™™m still stuck with a freezer that doesn™™t work reliably.This unit has caused a lot of stress, inconvenience, and wasted time. Before you purchase this model, be aware that it appears to be poorly made and difficult for even the manufacturer™™s technicians to repair. I would not buy this freezer again and cannot recommend it based on my experience

I bought the column refrigerator and freezer in 1/21 and the white plastic around the interior of the box developed cracks in several places in both units. I've had low end refrigerators that were 15 years old and never had this issue. I don't even know how I would go about repairing this problem and now I am having problems with my ice maker. Disaster

Cannot put much in either unit, and forget any large dish or storage container. As a retired professional kitchen and bath designer for 38 years I would have never put these in any of my clients kitchens.

The freezer is beautiful and has been flawless so far. We struggled to find a column freezer with ice maker and this really fit the bill. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the door was damaged in transit however my retailer is replacing. I would highly recommend this unit for a standalone column freezer - ready made to fit into the decor of your home - with an ice maker.

The installers were looking for any excuse to avoid installing including size, water valve while we had water valve and I hired a third party installed it and fitted in the space we had . I also reported three issues with drawer door in the fridge and clicking sound in the freezer door. I like the fridge and the brand while threse issue makes you regret your purchase

DO NOT BUY THIS FREEZER. We built our house and bought the refrigerator and freezer set. Our cabinets were custom built around these units. Within 3 yrs the freezer went out. After talking with two repairmen (one contracted with Frigidaire and one not) they said the issue is not repairable because of the design of the unit and that this is a very common issue with this unit. We are stuck with Frigidaire because there aren™™t other brands with units the same size, not ti mention a different brand wouldn™™t match the refrigerator. Frigidaire was not helpful and the only would be a very small discount on another expensive unit. We are currently using our old garage freezer at this time because the thought of spending another $3k on a unit a few years after purchase enrages me.

Beware of this product. To give a quick summary: 1. Our freezer stopped working after 2.5 years. 2. Frigidaires standard warranty for this unit is only 2 years vs 5 years compared to many of their competitors. 3. Frigidaires service department sent a technician who used the wrong refrigerant. 4. We cannot get a refund or move to getting a second opinion due to the fact their hired technician still hasn™™t provided a report after 2 weeks. We purchased this refrigerator Freezer standalone product 2.5 years ago and loved them until our freezer stopped getting cold. We reached out to Frigidaires service department and paid them to come out to diagnose the issue and repair. They hired a 3rd party company who came out over two weeks ago and there is still no resolution or path forward. This technician gave the assessment that the freezer was in repairable claiming there was an internal leak of the sealed system in the cabinet where it is not accessible. While the technician was troubleshooting, he filled the refrigerant lines with the wrong refrigerant and mixed refrigerants which is against EPA regulations and local laws. It is also worth mentioning that using the wrong refrigerant can cause damage to the components and can be a potential hazard. Overall such a bad service experience and poor quality product that should last much longer than 2.5 years. I wish Frigidaire stood behind their product more and cared about the customers experience.

Like the other recent reviewer, our freezer/ice maker is leaking water inside and then makes it way onto your hardwood floor. It is not repairable. Ours is just over 2 years old so we are expected to just buy another. Reading on here and Reddit, this is a known issue and a manufacturing defect. No way a plastic water line/elbow should be allowed to freeze inside a freezer. They know that and have since made changes I understand. Ours is just out of warranty but I'm not letting this go due to it being a known design defect.

The 5 year old Electrolux ice maker breaks down because the water line freezes inside the freezer. Your kidding me right? Subsequently find out there is no part to fix the problem. The fix is to buy 1/2 the fridge for $3200 (the entire fridge cost $7000 five years ago). This cannot be possible. This a massive mistake in engineering (a frozen water line in the freezer section breaks the icemaker) or its outright fraud, making a home owner buy a new fridge or 1/2 the fridge. Again, there is no part to fix just the ice maker? That is what we were told by our local furniture store and heard his call to the Frigidaire customer service rep. There should of been a recall or other fix for the icemaker, even if its $400-500. FYI The new models have a heater on the water line now and the part can be replaced if there is a problem.I expect a full response by someone in product development, not customer service. Good grief

We bought this freezer and refrigerator for its premium look in 2020, but that's about all you get, just looks. From the first day, we noticed the digital temperature reading is off by several degrees. No problem, we were able to adjust accordingly. Next comes the frosting at the top. We had technicians come out to service it. They tried putting silicone around the seal a couple of times to no avail. This caused so much stress to let strangers into our house during the worst days of covid. We learned to put up with the frost build up at the top. We learned to put up with the frosted up surfaces.Fast forward to 2025, the ice maker all of a sudden died. We called service again (luckily we bought the extended warranty). The technician said the water line was frozen up, so he had to undo the trim and pull out the freezer. While he was doing that, he noticed there was condensation on the side of the freezer on the OUTSIDE. He said this only happens when the insulation is no good and he wouldn't be able to fix it. So there goes the freezer. It looked good while it lasted and I have to figure out what to do since it is paired up with the refrigerator. Do I want to buy another freezer that costs multiple thousands of dollars and deal with the headache again? Probably not.

We installed the fridge and freezer in our new construction home in 2022. A couple days after it hit one year old we had serious issues with our freezer. We called the company we purchased it from and also Frigidaire corporate and nobody would do anything for us. Originally our control board went bad, which is a major component. They still did not care and would not help us with any repair costs or supply a new control board. We were very disappointed given the amount of money these systems cost. We have since replaced the control board three times and the fan and had numerous other repairs. Our freezer now goes out once a month and it takes us one week to defrost and dry it out. We have no choice left but to purchase an entirely new one. We have been told by multiple repair people that this product is defective and they Seymour of these go out than any other appliance. The unfortunate thing is most people are selecting this brand because of how nice they appear and the look. I am beyond disappointed. I urge everyone to please consider using something other than this fridge and freezer combo. The fridge was fine, but the freezer is absolutely atrocious.
