Best window unit I™€™ve owned

I bought this for my shop. It™€™s a 20ftx40ft shop. I have my dogs inside of it and it™€™s not an insulated building. This unit does the job plus some. These dogs are always cool and I can™€™t complain myself when I™€™m out there working on projects. I™€™d recommend this unit to anyone. Especially since I was in the A/C - Refrigeration trade for over 20years. The features are great. I can pre cool the room with the app from wherever I am! This is a great unit!

Got the 15 k wifi unit so while me and my gf are away we can shut it off and turn it back on before we get home to save money work awesome just how it's supposed to got the 15k because the 10 k we had just didn't work the best in our big apartment when it gets really hot the wifi works awesome goes down to 60 degrees and cools our bigger 2 bedroom down in under a hour just a fyi u will need 2 people when installing it u will need to take the cage off install the cage and put the ac back into the cage way easier in my opinion not having to try to install a heavy ac on its on way easier doing just the cage then u just slide the ac in and put the front plate on and your good to go ! Ps u will need help unless u are hulk it's 119 pounds and long alot of the weight is on the back side so makes it awkward to carry .

The A/C is good, the app not so. The app won't connect to strong wifi which is the reason I bought this A/C so I can control it from out of state when away for the summer. Have talked to customer service twice, googled for solutions all to no avail. Shouldn't be this hard and frustrating.

The good news: works well to cool down my large open area and fairly quiet. Install is easy if you have a PhD in technical writing and I'm only half kidding. The bad news: Very disappointed when taking it in for the winter. After 4 months, rust on screws at the bottom and corrosion. I'll be replacing the screws with stainless steel, but surely for 5 cents more they could have done that at the factory. And a severe lack of drainage even though I had installed at the recommended angle. Drilled several more drainage holes to empty the tray completely, but again, any real period of testing would have identified this as an issue and a couple drainage holes could have been added at production stage. These should not be issues at 4 months! Overall lack of attention to detail.

Works great! I purchased a smaller unit and moved it to my daughters room. So immediately looked at Frigidaire. This unit is amazing, sometimes we have to turn it down...lolThe only trouble we had was figuring out the screws. The instructions need better illustration. (A bolt on picture helps) 1 you need to seperate the casing from the air conditioning unit (2 people). Then you mount the casing to the window opening. Then you mount support pieces to the air conditioner unit itself. Pay attention to the screws we separated them according to the list and still had trouble. It takes 2 people to lift and slide it into casing at window (heavy unit). All said and done it's in and WOW, what a great unit. Feels just like a cool breeze. Keeps our rooms comfortable!

This unit is working excellent for me I was in an accident two years ago and because of nerve damage I must stay in a cool area. I can set this unit on 66° or even 65° and it cool a very large area in my house to this degree. So I am very pleased with the performance of this air conditioning. I love that you can adjust the temperatures to whatever you need and also the fan speed. It has made my life a little better with being able to control the environment I'm sitting in. I have a large AC unit but it is very expensive to use it and run it at 66 degrees for the entire house, so this unit can cool whatever I need it to down to that temperature without running up my light bill. I absolutely I absolutely love this air conditioning.

I™€™m very pleased thus far with this unit. The wifi and app seems to work well. I installed in a garage that can reach well over 100 degrees. It required custom install because the only window is a slider. I™€™m waiting to see how my electric bill compares to the bill prior to install, when I had a different unit that didn™€™t have the wifi and eco settings, but I™€™m hopeful it™€™ll be much lower. The dimensions listed in the manual for through the wall type install are wrong, and this should be corrected. Otherwise the unit is very quiet, and I™€™m hopeful it™€™ll last a long time.

It is great! I can control it from my phone due to it being connected to wifi, so wether I am in bed or away from home, I can adjust the temperature or set schedules for when to have it on and off and at what temperature and setting in general. Between this AC and a 12000BTU AC it keeps my entire house cool with doors open (Living Room, Game Room, Guest Room, Kitchen, Office Room, Bedroom, even both bathrooms). So cold, everyone wants blankets or something hot to drink. Now you don't have to have it that cold but we love it. And this Frigidaire 15000BTU AC helps make that happen! We Love It! I recommend. You can control it from either phone app, remote that it comes with, or even walking up to it and changing it. The display light turns off so you don't have to worry about that annoying little light. It tells you when filter needs to be changed. The air vents give you the option to have it facing/blowing two different directions.

Customer service is awful and apparently can only read from a script. Have had many Frigidaire appliances in our family but will think twice in the future.

This air conditioner is a bit more than I needed in the garage. The reason I purchased this larger unit is because in the afternoon, the sun is on the garage with nothing to cover it....and man, the properly rated AC just could not keep up. This air is cold (great at removing the heat from the room). I like that it goes down to 60 degrees, in the mid day at the suns peak, it's actually on low. It's not as loud as our other smaller units. The app works fine to control it with a smart phone. To boot, even though it's a larger unit, it actually uses the same amps as the smaller units™€¦that™€™s great. Thanks Frigidaire!

Just moved into a new apt and we decided to go with Frigidaire because we had 2 Frigidaire ac units in our previous apt. For over 10 years the units in our old apt preformed exceptionally, keeping us comfortable and effectively cooling off a much larger space. Our new unit has lived up to expectations and has proved the we made the best decision sticking with frigidaire. I've had other brands of ac units. Some that come in at a much higher price point, but all have fallen short on functionality and performance. I will only recommend Frigidaire to others when asked.

I live in a small upper flat, in the summer it gets extremely hot.I needed a good air conditioner to cool it down. There are two bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and bathroom. This air conditioner on low with the temperature set to 67 keeps the entire apartment ice cold. It is a larger size air conditioner but for the price it was well worth the few hours it took to install it.

I purchased my Frigidaire to counter the heatwave in my central airless house in Washington. I had 12 family members fly in for a memorial and I cant imagine how it would have turned out without it! It was very easy to install with simple step by step instructions. I connected it to my wifi and I was able to operate from my phone. I couldn™€™t believe this was a window unit. Works great as a replacement for my old 13.8kBTU AC in an area with 6 south facing windows. Sealed it up really well with extra weatherstripping around and inside to stop any air leaks. With the wireless app, I can turn it on while we™€™re driving home so it™€™s cooled down by the time we arrive. Additional slide in side panels help ensure the louvers maintain their seal and add insulation R value which is good since we leave this installed year round. Eco mode cycles the fan on and off as well as the compressor for additional energy savings. This 15.1kBTU AC draws less current than the old 13.8kBTU unit removed, so more cooling for less power. Very happy with this purchase!

The unit works great and keeps my room cool. It's a lot quieter then my older 15000BTU system. I like the auto fan feature, it helps keep the unit operating quietly. The app is a nice added feature. I'm able to turn the unit on and off without having to be line of sight. My only complaint is that it doesn't always shut off when it reaches the desired temperature. I know that the fan has to run for a bit after the compressor turns off, but sometimes it keeps cooling 4-5 degrees past the desired temperature.I would recommend the unit. I didn't have any issues with broken parts, like some comments had mentioned.

This unit works great so far. It arrived damaged which is a disappointment. When you spend money on something brand new, it would be nice to receive it in mint condition and leave the disappointment of dings to the future when you make them by your own fault. While a general "covers several units" set of instructions may seem cost effective to the company, it's NOT helpful to the customer. Had quite a bit of confusion on some steps. They really should minimize customer frustration by having unit specific instructions.
