I installed myself and everything was a breeze. I did have to increase the cutout area™™s height by 1/2 inch. Easy cut. I purchased a scissor lift platform from Harbor Freight and it was better than having two guys help me. So far, my wife loves cooking in her double convection ovens. It matches with our other fairly new stainless steel appliances and looks very classy! We feel we got a great deal at Best Buy.

Comparing my new double oven to old GE oven

I™™ve only had the oven about 2 weeks and have only baked a few things in it. I replaced an almost 40 year old GE double oven. Here™™s what I found really different:- first of all, the dimensions. Though it is almost the same size, the interior is more wide and shallow. So I have to put my baking pans in with the long side parallel to the oven window, instead of perpendicular to it. To me, this seems harder to get the pan in/out. Also, this means I don™™t rotate the pan while baking because it™™s too hard to do it. In theory, the oven should bake more evenly (because the fan is always working, even if not in convection mode) and I shouldn™™t have to rotate anyway.- the insulation of the glass oven door has really improved. Not only can I see through it easily (compared to my old oven), but the door does not get warm.- there is a brilliant oven light, but when you turn it on, it turns on in both ovens. A tiny nitpick.- This oven takes about 10 mins to preheat to 350. Seems like my old oven was faster, but maybe I™™m just more aware because you can™™t set the oven timer until the desired temp has been reached. As a result, I end up not using the oven timer.- The racks started off with a weird stain on them. Hopefully that will cook off.- I guess the even cooking is working, as i baked 2 tins of bran muffins (normally takes 13 minutes), and both cooked evenly and 1-2 mins faster than my old oven.So I™™m very satisfied with this double oven, I just haven™™t used it enough yet

I really enjoy having the double oven when cooking. The controls are easy to use and easy to understand. It could use a louder beeper, I have turned mine all the way up and its just not loud enough.

our new oven had to fit exactly (down to 1/8™) into the space of our old oven. The specs given in the data from Frigidaire were exactly right and the oven slipped right in. Our new oven replaced an oven from 1991. Wow! What a difference! Both ovens are producing wonderful meals.

We™™ve needed a new oven since we moved into our house 10 years ago. However, we made the existing one work because there were other priorities. Our prior oven used to burn food at any temperature, and we™™ve all mastered shortening the cooking times and temperature modes. However, it was finally time to replace it and we really like this model. It cooks beautifully. The only drawback I would say is sometimes the push buttons take a few times to touch before turning on the light or powering down the oven. Overall, it™™s a great buy!

I love my new Frigidaire double wall oven! It replaced an old double wall oven that was about 30 years old that stopped working. First the upper oven died, then the lower oven over time. I am really enjoying having two ovens again, and this model looks so sleek in my kitchen.

The oven is very easy to use. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that it sets 25° lower than the desired temperature. I have checked it with multiple thermometers. So I add 25°. An easy fix, but . . . . Otherwise, I love it.

Oven is working well. We™™ve used it to bake and broil and it does the job. It seems to cook things more thoroughly and quicker than our old oven, so we™™ve had to shorten some cooking times. Haven™™t used convection feature yet.

We purchased our 2nd set of Frigidaire wall ovens for the features (convection, self cleaning) and the price. The real test is durability. Our previous unit lasted 18 years. Somehow--don't ask me how!--the new 27" oven fit into the old 24" ovens' space.The new ovens look great and temperature is accurate. I like the uncluttered look of no buttons or keypad, but I do worry whether the digital keypad could wear out.

The features are nice, menus easy to use. But after install and initial setup, and used for several months, the temperature never did not calibrate correctly. Oolong was taking far longer than recipe time due to incorrect actual oven temp vs. what it was showing on display. Required service call, hopefully ok now. The circulation fan seems to run no matter what cooking mode you choose. In Convection mode, fan is expected to run and move air around; but in Bake mode, there should be no circulating. Bake is used to cook items like soufleÃs that are delicate and need to rise undisturbed.Happy with the oven size and rack spacing options. Have yet to use bottom oven, perhaps at the holidays!Touch screen center area works well, but the four surrounding buttons are poorly aligned and don™™t work well. I have an extended warranty for 3 yrs., let™™s hope I don™™t need it™¦

This oven was exactly what I wanted with only one downside; the inside width limits what pan you can use. This actually replaced an old oven with the same dimensions so I thought I wouldn't have a problem using my large pans that I used in the old oven. To my surprise they couldn't fit because of the way this models' inside cavity which held the rack together was designed .

Just bought our first home and there was a very small 1960's wall oven that couldn't fit a turkey. My husband and I cook all the time and knew we needed a better option. We LOVE our new double oven! The overall installation was easy, but there were 2 things that made it trickier. First were the wrap-around fins on the side plates. These were not necessary and made it harder to install against an existing cabinet. Second was the flexible metal conduit used. It was much larger that it needed to be for the wires that were inside it. This made it more difficult to tie it into the existing junction box for hookup. It was 1/4" to 1/2" wider than it needed to be. The oven itself was easy to install once those items were solved. The ovens themselves work great for the little we have used them so far. My wife finds the controls easy to use and they run a lot quieter than our old ovens.

I should have listened to the reviews!!! We purchased the 27 inch double wall oven and we have had the repair people out more times than I can count. Main problem, once the oven is on and you open it to stir or turn something, the steam/heat from the oven turns the oven off........sometimes, so that you may not notice and then you go back to get you dish out once the timer has gone off and the oven has been OFF for the entire time since you had turned the dish!!! VERY FRUSTRATING!!!Frigidare is non-responsive!Another issue, it takes several attempts at setting the timer before the correct numbers show up, even though you have been pressing the same numbers REPEATEDLY !!!Sounds like an electrical board issue correct? No, we have had several replacements and no improvement.We are so very unhappy with this purchase and even more disappointed that the company does not stand by their product.

So replacing my old oven was hard. It was my parents oven for 50 years and it could no longer be fixed. Top oven no longer worked and bottom oven seemed to bake hotter, so the first of the year I told my husband we needed to replace it. So I went on line and found what I wanted and ordered it. It was installed the same day. SO EASY! I love to bake. I am currently doing a fundraiser so I bake alot, I mean alot and I absolutely love all the creature comforts of the light working, as you can imagine the old ovens light quit working a long time ago so watching it bake was cool. It's quite. It's a great addition to my kitchen!

This oven replaced a GE double oven and fit in the same cutout space. The old oven had a tendency to cook "hot," but the new Frigidaire seems to be at the right temperature. It has a fan that cooks food more evenly as well. The interior dimensions are actually larger than the old GE, so we can use a normal sized pan that wouldn't fit in the GE. Controls are easy to learn and the oven windows are larger than we had before. This is an overall improvement to what we had before.
