Do Not Purchase this Amana® 30-inch Gas Range with Easy-Clean Glass Door. I regret that I purchased it. The oven temperature is not accurate. Gas fumes can be smelled and irritate your nasal passages. Your eyes will burn from the fumes that escape. The grates do not fit on the top of the range. This causes a hazard. The pots and skillets slide. We must use a manual temperature gauge inside the oven. The cakes baked in the oven are not a good finished product because of the inaccuracy of the temperature. It's a lemon. Poor decision made.

This is the worst purchase ever made. Poor quality. Too expensive. A black fire box. No light inside. Unstable grates. Poor design. Don't make the mistake I made. Do not purchase this trash. It should not be on the market. It's a waste of your money. Beware. Belongs in the junk heap. The oven temperature is not correct. Not possible to return. I can't say enough negative things about the gas range. The company should be ashamed for selling it.

Decent but has room for improvement

This Amana 30-inch gas range gets the job done for basic cooking, but it has a few limitations. The burners work fine and the oven cooks evenly most of the time, but preheating takes longer than expected and the controls feel a bit flimsy. The easy-clean glass door is convenient, though overall the range feels fairly basic. It™€™s okay for the price, but I wouldn™€™t consider it exceptional.

After a month of owning this Range, it well worth the money, the features are simple to understand, set up was also easy including adjusting the burners, clean up is a breeze, and being black in color hides accidents such as boil overs, its a win win all around, dont forget the warranty as well !!

Very regretful buying this range on line. We thought it was the same style as the one we had. This oven has no display on top of the range to let you know when the oven is preheated, no timer, no clock etc. The bottom storage for large pans heats up - we need to remember that to avoid getting burned again. We sure miss out other stove and am personally looking forward to the day this one breaks down so we can justify getting one we are happy with.

we purchased this about a month ago and were very pleased with it except the top burner grates are very slick and allows pan and pots to slide around too much also it was delivered with only one internal rack which we noticed only after the delivery people ahad gone

I am very glad I did, I really enjoy cooking with gas, plus it can also be used to heat my house if the electricity goes out. The salesman was very helpful and prompt with the delivery & setup. We are old fashion people and didn't need all the electronic gadgets available now. We needed one that looked good, cooked/baked good, and met our needs. If this is the range with the glass covering the door all the way to the top with the handle bolted THROUGH the glass, beware. Or better yet, don't even buy it. We tried to move the range slightly and the handle shattered the glass. We sent a complaint to Amana but they never answered. Now we have to dispose of the range and get another range with a properly supported handle.
